2. Through the Holy Spirit

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit as our Counselor and guide. In John 16:13, He says, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” The Holy Spirit often speaks to our hearts with gentle nudges or convictions. Proverbs 15:22 says, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” Seeking advice from mature Christians or spiritual mentors can provide clarity and confirmation of God’s response. For example, a trusted pastor or friend might share biblical wisdom that aligns with what you’ve been praying about.

6. Through Dreams and Visions

In the Bible, God often communicated through dreams and visions. In Acts 2:17, we are told: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” While not every dream is from God, there are times when He uses them to reveal His plans, as He did with Joseph in Genesis.

7. Through Creation

God’s creation declares His glory and can remind us of His presence. In Psalm 19:1, we read: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” A stunning sunrise or the intricate design of nature can often serve as a gentle reminder of His power and care.
